Hello you,
Yes you. You at 22, 26, or perhaps even 35 (if Tumblr still exists then). I know that your current 21 year old self still goes through your lived experiences every now and then, reliving the good and the bad, and I know that the you now will most likely still be looking back to your past. You love it and you hate it, but everything that has happened, everything that you have recorded lives here. And no, you’ve contemplated multiple times to delete everything, but that is not you, so you won’t.
This is just a reminder, whether you’re looking back again for the good times or the bad times, that you are strong, very strong. You’ve matured and changed so much, yet not at all. You’ve grown and you continue to grow every single day. The things we’ve been through, only you and I know, is never left behind. It carries on with us and continues to shape us and what we do. So relive your memories, drown yourself in self-pity, laugh at the things you used to said and how you used to be, rethink about events, about people, about yourself. Allow these things to happen, don’t disregard it or hate yourself for it, because these experiences are what have made you you. They don’t define you, but you’ve grown from them. And what I’ve realized at 21 is that I still continue to grow from experiences of when I was 12. So the you now, I hope you’re doing okay, I hope you are still learning from your past but also the present. Don’t be ashamed for living in a time warp, for as you’re only living your full life.
